Wordless Wednesday ~ Mardi Gras

(I think I can never post a totally Wordless Wednesday...I MUST explain a few things...!)

Here's daughter 6 years ago at the French Quarter in...Disneyland! These guys were great and had her singing and dancing and then threw the beads...As close to the "real" thing as we've gotten!

and this is a few years later... today! :))

Thanks to Miss Dixie at French Lique, Texas for creating and having fun with Wordless Wednesday! Visit her blog and find out who's joining in. And you join in, too!

Oh very sweet! I never thought of celebrating Fat Tuesday at Disneyland but that would probably be the closest I could get too!
Happy WW to you!

Hi Elizabeth!

Your daughter is adorable. I love her pose in the doorway -- my older daughter would pose exactly the same way!

If you pop over to my blog, 2/26 post, there's an award waiting for you. :-)

Best, Cass

A dear girl, not suprising considering the Mom she has.

Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday, Pancake Tuesday - and here now is Autumn.

My Favourite Season - I don't cope with heat well these days.

Maybe sometime you could let me know how winter has been in Northern Mississippi. I found New Albany in my battered (cast off from the folks) Rand McNally but have no idea of the climate.

I learn't how to spell Mississippi back aged about 9 - was in my spelling book!

Your lovely daughter looks brilliant in her Mardi Gras mask, I hope she enjoyed the day's celebrations.

Love and huggles, Michelle xxxxxx

And I expect there shouldn't be an apostrophe in learnt. I cringe at my bad punctuation, then move on......

Zeb has recovered, but also seems to have aged, to have slowed down or maybe is just super cautious? Mind you his true age is a guessing game, maybe 11??

Hi to Gizmo!!

Love to you, and all your dear ones, Michelle xxxx

There is a new meme [kinda - it's been around for a few months] and it's called WORDFUL Wednesday that I've been participating in for some time now...it's much, much more 'sensible' 'cause we can't all be wordless and I'm one of them that needs WORDFUL.

Happy weekend...and thanks for visiting with me today.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am so pleased to know that it gives you pleasure and that you can take a virtual hike with me. I do my best to showcase this place which is all new to me! Perhaps I am enjoying some of the land you tired to protect!
