Wordless Wednesday ~ Books

It's time for Wordless Wednesday, hosted by the delightful Dixie at French Lique. Please join in!

Our word for today is BOOKS, and even though this should be Wordless, it seems I cannot keep from commenting just a teensy bit! You see, (*heartfelt sigh*) my books have not all been unpacked yet, so all I can offer is:

Well, this is as close as I can get: a comforter...held up by my daughter (wearing white socks!)

I need some bookcases!

Hi Elizabeth
I love that throw and you might want to think twice about getting a shelf for all those "dust" collectors!
Love, Ann

Hi dear Elizabeth,

you too can't live without dust collectors? And the throw is lovely.Never enough space on my book shelves for cats. Incidently the Pink Panther theme is playing right now on the radio!

Zeb was all hopeful yesterday when I cleared some books to make a space next to my keyboard. His nuisance of a human then put a laptop there (keeling over pc on the way out, dad's cast off laptop the replacement)

Oh, you have to have books, Elizabeth. Books can be huggled!

HAPPY WORDLESS WEDNESDAY ELIZABETH,
I LOVE YOUR KITTY COMFORTER...
IT IS SO SWEET AND IT DOES REALLY LOOK LIKE LITTLE CAT PAWS COMING OUT FROM UNDERNEATH....
MOST OF MY BOOKS ARE IN BOXES....EVERYTHING IS SUCH DUST COLLECTORS...I HAVE THREATENED MYSELF WITH TAKING EVERYTHING OFF THE SHELVES EVERY TIME I HAVE TO DUST AND I NEVER DO.
BLESSINGS

That was a cute post! Love the throw! I don't have any bookcases. My books are in the top of my closet or in drawers. I really should get one! :)

Great photo of the quilt, I love it! When I took my book photos I saw I need to add...tidy books to my list and I see you need to go shopping which sounds like more fun.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

What a cute post. I have plenty of bookcases, but still have lots and lots of books in boxes! So I guess I don't have plenty of bookcases haha. The throw is adorable, but not nearly as cute as those little feet sticking out - what a hoot. Kathy

Took me a moment to find the white socks, and I laughed out loud when I did!

How adorable, those little feet peeking out under the throw. I used to have a throw from Williamsburg that had books on it; I loved it, but eventually it just plain wore out.

We moved back in May, and I still have books in boxes. I had loads of bookcases in our old house, not so many here, and I'm going nuts trying to squeeze book storage in any logical place. It's tough!

And a belated Happy Birthday to you! Oops the dogs are barking, hubby must be home -- bye!

Best wishes, Cass
PS Glad you like our quirky old house! It's the house I wanted since I was a little girl; I can't believe I live here! :-)
